Whether you're coming to the Utah State Fair as a family, for a field trip or as a Scout troop. There's lots of activities and entertainment sure to keep a family busy all 11 days.
   
Little Hands on the Farm  
September 6th-16th Open until 8:00 PM
Little Hands on the Farm has become a staple for many Fair-going families. This exhibit provides an educational and hands-on experience of life on the Farm. Children ages two to 10 become a "farmer for a day." As children and their families travel through the exhibit they will milk a cow, plant a seeds, ride a tractor and sell their goods for a treat at the grocery store.
   
Pathways to Fishing- Hands on fishing at the Wildlife Building
September 6th-16th Every 30 minutes from 4:00-7:00 daily
Program consists of a 20 minute presentation about fish, their habitat and the basics of fishing. After the presentation, kids (13 and under) use the skills they learned to catch and release fish stocked in the pond. Instruction, fishing rods, reels and bait are provided.
   
Utah Farm Bureau presents “All About Apples” in the Specialty Tent
Saturday, September 15 2 PM to 7PM
Free family friendly activities that include a Corn Pit, Apple Tasting, Spin & Win game with prizes, Apple Recipes & Tips for Moms, Children’s apple activity, and more!  Don’t miss the chance to talk to real Utah farmers!

C&H Sugar Cookie Contest  
Zion Building  
September 15th Entries: 7:00 PM
Judging: 7:30 PM
Adult and child (ages 5-13) teams bake and bring in a dozen cookies using C&H sugar to be judged at the Fair. Cash prizes are awarded to first, second and third places. For rules and entry information click here.
