Company Overview
The State Fair Park Authority produces and manages the Utah State Fair. The organization was established in 1856 shortly after the pioneer settlers arrived in 1847. The Utah State Fair has operated continuously every year since.
In addition to hosting the annual state fair, the corporation hosts upwards of 200 public and private events annually including music festivals, cultural festivals, rodeos, conferences, banquets, and more. The Fairpark is one of the most diverse and inclusive event centers in all of Utah and is reflected in our broad appeal.
The Fairpark is home to the Days of 47 Arena, a state-of-the-art outdoor arena and the Vans skateboard park built to Olympic standards.
Through the generous support to the Utah State Legislature and Governor’s office, we have invested over twenty-six million dollars in capital improvements over the last ten years correcting decades of differed maintenance concerns. Most recently announced an ambitious two hundred-million-dollar master plan that includes a new exposition center, new livestock facilities, and hotel.
